We have too many heroes lost and not enough workout days to commemorate them. I think it’s fitting to always think of the men and women in service, whether military or peace officers and public safety, as we do our workouts. A bit of motivation to throw a little of our sweat and maybe a drop of blood on the floor in their honor.

CASH-OUT:  400m walk, trying to breathe again!

Good WOD!  I wish I could say AS RX’D, but they were only regular burpees (no bar 1’ above my reach!).  First set of burpees was unbroken, the rest were mostly in sets of 5 or 10.  Like I needed more burpees now that I’m firmly into the burpee challenge.

Close to Rx’d, but I didn’t place a bar at 1 ft above my reach

This WOD just had to come up during the burpee challenge!  I’m on day 31 - yesterday I had to do 86 burpees to make up for days 28, 29, and 30.  I didn’t think about the fact that flying over the international date line would cause me to lose not one but TWO days of burpees.  But it’s good to be home and back on burpee schedule.

‘The Newport Beach Crippler’ as RX’d

Time=12.52

The squats were heavy for me and took almost 5mins to complete. Was hoping to hit a 7min mile(nothing special but i’d take it) but after the squats that didn’t happen! My legs are destroyed! ha ha
