There’s one point where one of the guys starts saying he is wearing “Prison Greens, Not Dickies”  “You got to earn these”.

I would be much happier if thugs were working on pink fitballs doing leglifts.  This is actually making them functionally strong.

Now they’ll not only be more heavily armed than the cops, they’ll be more fit. That’s scary!

Love this read.  Reminds me of a classic latin phrase, “Si vis pacem, para bellum” or “If you wish for peace, prepare for war” otherwise interpreted as “Peace through strength”.

We have too many heroes lost and not enough workout days to commemorate them. I think it’s fitting to always think of the men and women in service, whether military or peace officers and public safety, as we do our workouts. A bit of motivation to throw a little of our sweat and maybe a drop of blood on the floor in their honor.

I am new on this forum and just stumbled across this topic. This is a very eye opening read and I hope people really took these two examples of “Todd” to heart. These are two different scenarios but yet they both convey the same truth and reality. One may never know what situation will arise or the enemy one will face whether foreign or domestic.

Gunner, I applaud you for your efforts, constant readiness and will to keep your marines safe. I have faced your same enemy. Your post gave me chills and filled me with pride. It was people like you who watched my back as I watched theirs while we faced “Todd”.

Thank you for your service and for upholding our Corps Values. Honor, Courage, and Commitment
