I like Optimum Nutrition’s 100% Whey Gold. Their Double Rich Chocolate is awesome. A lot of folks at the main site use it for it’s high quality protein and relatively low carb content. Another brand that has a strong following on the main site is Nitrean. A few of their representatives are active contributors to the CF community.

Thanks guys. I just picked up some Greens + Peanut Butter Protein Bars. They seem pretty clean and are filling snacks.

Does anyone know if its more beneficial to your body if you eat protein bars at the same time as taking whey? I’ve been eating these myoplex-lite bars and taking ON’s 100% whey. Any thoughts?

Im no expert but you generally want to be getting 20-30g of protein ever 2-3 hours so it may be better for you to take them separately, espically if like me there are other times of the day you dont get much protein intake..

I’ll toss a second on that one.  Been very pleased with their Recovery product (of course I’ve not tried many others).

I would be interested to hear what people have to say about this one:

http://www.t-nation.com/store/products/metabolic-drive-low-carb

Biotest Metabolic Drive

I have been using it for about 2 or 3 months now, but solely based on a couple of reviews I found on-line. Not the cheapest, that is for sure. The taste is FANTASTIC, but I am not sure it is really helping all that much.

I just switched to IsoPure No Carb & it’s pretty good. Mixes very well & goes down smooth. No carbs, no sugar, & has glutamine & bcaa’s in each serving!
