I recieved my copy of Mark Rippetoe’s book “Starting Strength” last night.
I bought the book with the intention of reading through it and then putting it in the library of books we make available to members of Brand X.  However, after a brief read through of the Deadlift and Clean portion of the book, I’ve changed my mind.  I won’t be lending my copy out.  Rather, I’m encouraging you to purchase your own.  The website is located here:

Do yourself a favor get the book.

I have already ordered mine and am looking forward to reading it.  All the reviews that I have seen have given this book 5Stars.  He definitely helped me with my deadlift form  , after I worked with him at CF HQ.

What is it, a how-to book?

You have a Brand X library?

Yes, probably the best one I’ve ever seen.  Really worth the money.

I have literally hundreds of M.A. and Training books.  All I do is buy and read which is why I’m such a font (read really boring at parties) of information.

Does the fact that I enjoy your company mean I’m boring too and just haven’t realized it?

I am going to buy that.  From what I’ve read about Mark Rippetoe, there is a lot to learn from him.  How long did it take to ship to you?

Who has picked up the book, and what do you think of it?

We have too many heroes lost and not enough workout days to commemorate them. I think it’s fitting to always think of the men and women in service, whether military or peace officers and public safety, as we do our workouts. A bit of motivation to throw a little of our sweat and maybe a drop of blood on the floor in their honor.

I can’t wait until I’m done with college so I can read things that I enjoy, are my choice and are useful in my daily life…

Got mine, already. That was quick. Beatiful book. I like the little flip movies in the margins. wink

I need this if I am going to have my guys doing any lifts. Also for my own form.

Got mine. Well-written, detailed and funny. Rippetoe gives good ideas how to allign what you want the trainee to do with the trainee thinks he’s doing.
