I know this this forum topic doesn’t get a lot of use but if you’ve seen the crossfit striking topics in the journal you know that if this is an interest to you, you can have a lot of fun, increase your skills and get a good work out in hitting the heavy bag, target pads or shadow boxing with some striking WODS.
I’ve always had an interest in martial arts / self defense so for me this is right up my ally. A great resource is whatsrightwithwill.com (WFS) Will does kickboxing and is Crossfit striking certified from a box up in Washington.
Another great resource right here on the Brand X boards is Big D who has also given me some great ideas for striking/bag work incorporated WODS. For me, it hleps break up the week with something I love to do while still getting in a great workout.
