Ok, i see.
I used to wear them football shin protectors when i do heavvy d.l. they are cheap wink and work good.
The ones you can stick yer feet in like a glove, they are not in the way if you put a pair of long socks over them like this——>

shins are a bloody mess:-)

Try rolling them over a massive dog bal (if you can stand the pain) or use a tennisbal (hurts less wink )

No , i mean they are really a bloody mess , from bar contact on shins when deadlifting for reps i tear the skin off bad and the more calloused it gets the easier it tears.

try rolling stuff around on them anyway. maybe it will work

From Sunday, Grace, but not “heavy” Grace

30 Clean and Jerks, 95 lbs.

7:00 RX

Beat my previous PR (from 2 years ago) by 1:09!  I was having WOD anxiety just thinking about this WOD starting last night.  I decided to try to do 5 reps every minute for 6 minutes to get done in under 7 minutes.  I got through the first 2 rounds like that, but the next 2 rounds were going over the minute.  And the last 10 reps were broken 4-3-3.

Then for S’s & G’s, my WOD partner wanted to go super light and just do it as fast as we could.  So, I did 45 lbs. and it took me 2:22.  My forearms were burning more than anything by this point.  It’s so crazy that the elite athletes can do the RX weight in less than the time it took me to do the 45 lbs!

Deadlift

500m Row
DROMS
10 pullups
15 Ring Dips
10 GHDs
15 Hip Ex

DL
WU then
3x 292, 325, 347 (pr by 6.5)
did sets up pullups mixing grips in between WU and work sets

Ender
35#DBs
10 press
10 thruster
10 push jerk

Skipped today’s WOD since high rep DLs are my Lex Luthor - I have injured myself several times recently doing them.  Spent time working on form in WU then did these sets with a reset, hands not leaving the bar.  OHS does not work inside either.  Bad WOD for my set up and skills.

Fill it up again! Fill it up again! Once it hits your lips, it tastes so good!—Frank the Tank

As-fast-as-possible always carries a requirement of “with proper form and full range-of-motion”.  Many people forget this and I see people at my affiliate who cheat movements just to get a few seconds faster on a WOD.  Do you know what they won for their awesome time?  Nothing.—tulatel
