This one is self scaling.

If you cannot do dips you can try assisted dips on a Gravitron machine or using bands.

Weighted dip 3-2-2-2-1-1-1-1-1 reps

Never having done weighted dips before I really didn’t have a feel for where to start, so I kept it light to start with.

25#x3, 35#x2, 35#x2, 45#x2, 50#x1, 55#x1, 60#x1, 65#x1, 70#x1

Since I hadn’t failed yet, I wanted to see where my 1RM would end up: 75#x1, 80#x1, 90#xFAIL, 90#x1. I had to fight for every inch of that 1 rep 90#.

Worked on thrusters, and cashed out with 20 minutes on the bike.

Towel pullups from full hang to head by hands, then curl knees to elbows at top, broken 4,4x3,2,2.  Back squats unbroken.  HSPUs kipped, Abmat under head, 3 sets of 5.  Rows on crappy rower - I know the distance rowed doesn’t measure accurately, no idea if calories do.  40 cals took 90 strokes and 3:30.

Finished up with back squats, 2x5 225, then 1x3 225 with 2 second pause at bottom, focusing on depth.

Today is my 1st CrossFit birthday. So in honor of this occasion, I’ll go home and do some burpees and kipping pull-ups wink

P.S. For my “birthday” I made my first Rogue Fitness purchase. 2x 10, 25, & 45 lb bumper plates. Pretty excited to use them hopefully this Saturday. Next up, I’m building a power rack on Saturday and I’m hoping to get a Rogue Oly Bar soon…
