Hero Crossfit for the new guy

Hi I’m new to crossfit although I have done some WOD’s before. I was wondering before I jump into offical new crossfit daily WOD’s could I do hero wod’s for a couple months first?

That would be the fast-track to injury.

The “Heroes” are some of the longest and hardest we do.

Just stick with the daily scaled WODs.

Welcome!

If you thinking of doing hero wod instead of following HQ I would say that is a bad idea if you haven’t done crossfit for some time, and are familliare w exercises, do them w good form, and know the feeling (hell, even welcome) when Pukie comes knocking.
Why not go whit HQ. You will get all the prep for the heroes wod you need when one comes up. And you will learn to hate when ur gut tells you that Fran is on here way.
