Did pack R’x for Kettlebell snatches and pullups 17:47
I have been doing crossfit for about going on 4-6 months, I say 4 because the first 2 I was so weak I had no idea what I was doing, still weak. I feel my pullups are not improving as I feel they are suppose to be; though since learning about position my form is getting better, but my endurance or “strength” has no been producing as much and I can only do; at max 5 a set before resting a decent period of time. I see 21 or so pullups in one set and I, seriously, almost cry. Am I doing something wrong or am I that weak that another 6 months will yield better results?
No coach, just my thoughts. I looked on the times on the forum for this wod. It went from 5ish up to 17 min +.
This is more of a sprint wod. When you choosed what scaling to use, what time where u aiming for?
If pull ups was the downfall u might have gone beginners, or scaled the reps back to say 15-12-9.
We will not come to Big Dawg if we don’t spend time in puppie and pack!
And ye, was the weight for the snatches good? Did u get all of them unbroken (or whit a few broken sets)?
Read some of ur earlier posts. Seems u did have a grip-issue? Is that taken care of? If not u might get some farmers walks in every week after the wod, and mix in some hanging from the bar.
