New to Crossfit but have been lifting weights for 5 or 6 years now.
The reason I want to do CF is because I’ve gotten bored of traditional bodybuilding workouts.
I can only basically train Monday to Friday, so what I’ve done to set up my week is basically do the WOD’s listed and if there’s a rest day I just take the following days WOD.
I started with some of the WOD’s a few weeks back, and basically my first week will look like this:
3 rounds for time:
21 dumbbell/kettlebell swings 15-20kg
10 30kg barbell thrusters
15 bar facing burpees
20 30kg barbell thrusters
25 bar facing burpees
30 30kg barbell thrusters
35 bar facing burpees
Weighted Pull-Ups 3-2-2-2-1-1-1-1-1
60 Wall Ball 10kg ball
60 Chest-To-Bar Pull Ups
60 One-Legged Squats, alternating
60 20kg dumbbell snatch, alternating
*women 5kg wall ball / 10kg dumbbell
15-12-9 for time
24” box jump
*women 45-55kg / 20” box
My girlfirend is also going to join me, hence the women weights being listed.
I am also starting out with the scaled workouts, sometimes “pack” sometimes “puppy” according to my ability.
