Today’s WOD was a joyous mix of epic indoor cardio and some of my favorite resistance work. Crossfit.com had it as the Saturday WOD, so here goes:
Bike 1500 meters (SUB: 1600m - 1 mile)
35 Kettlebell swings, 20 pounds
Row 800 meters
20 Wall ball shots, 10 pounds
Run 600 meters (SUB: elliptical at 0.38mi, rough equivalent on the distance)
15 Pull-ups(Beginner or assisted okay): Australian pull-ups
Everything unbroken, rest came only from walking from apparatus to apparatus. The pull-ups came really easy this time; need to find a new assist to make this a shade more difficult. Maybe it’s time to bite the bullet and go get pullup bands. Nothing was difficult in and of itself, it was just the need to keep going for 18 minutes straight at a high level of ferocity. Glucose just a touch low after I was done, but not urgently so. The workout felt good, and I’ll have to give this one a go again sometime soon!
