“Tabata Something Else”
Complete 32 intervals of 20 seconds of work followed by ten seconds of rest where the first 8 intervals are pull-ups, the second 8 are push-ups, the third 8 intervals are sit-ups, and finally, the last 8 intervals are squats. There is no rest between exercises.

Pull Ups. 11-11-11-10-11-10-9-9=82
Push Ups. 29-23-24-19-18-19-19-18= 169
Sit Ups. 16-17-15-16-16-16-16-17= 129
Squats. 23-23-23-22-23-22-23-23= 182

Total=562 new PR!

Old PR was 438

FRI 08032013 TABATA Something Else

Puppies - Complete 16 intervals of 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest where the first 4 intervals are pull-ups (sub 57-lb bent barbell rows), the second 4 are push-ups, the third 4 intervals are sit-ups, and finally, the last 4 intervals are squats. There is no rest between exercises.

16-15-14-16

Post total reps from all 16 intervals = 177 That’s a PR!
Compare to 08062012 = 149

Puppies - cut the work in half

16 intervals, 4 Pull-ups, 4 Push-ups, 4 Sit-ups, 4 Squats.  20/10 seconds.

Pull-ups:  7-5-4-3
Push-ups:  8-9-10-11
Sit-ups:  8-9-10-10
Squats:  14-13-14-13

Total reps:  148

Pull-ups killed me.  I’m having trouble with my grip, had to climb up on a bench to reach the bar, should have used a band…?

Thanks.  You did pretty well yourself.  cool smile  I give some credit to my wife, who read off my “goals” for each round based on what I did on 130721.  I tried for one more of each rep completed in that WOD.  That made things much more manageable.

Warm-up: mowing the lawn + Deadhang pull-up work (4), and handstand push-up work (2)

WOD: 8 rounds per exercise of 20s work + 10s rest; no extra rest between exercises. Goal is max reps. I did:
Elevated beginner pull-ups: 14-9-5-4-2-3-3-3 (43 total)
Push-ups: 16-10-7-6-6-5-4-4 (58 total)
Sit-ups: 12-10-10-9-9-8-8-9 (75 total)
Squats: 14-14-10-12-12-13-13-14 (102 total)
