Rest day - had to come home sick from work today. Suits me fine, though, because I ran a 2 mile during my active rest day yesterday. I can just pick up the 5k on my next active rest day…

Run 5,000 meters

29:42

Very hilly course (339’ gain).

Compare to 131129:

29:01.8 (same course)

Then,

Concept 2 Mud Season Madness

Row 5K:

22:15.5

Just a little bit faster each day.

Please consider signing up for Brand X’s Concept2 rowing team and competing in the World Erg Challenge.  The challenge runs 15 March through 15 April, but it’s not too late to sign up.  We have a chance to win a rower or ski erg for Brand X, as well as some individual prizes.  It would be swell if, at a minimum, everybody logged their rowing from the WODs they were going to do anyway.  Please PM me if you have questions.  Thanks!  grin

Dang you David, You’re gonna get me wanting to do it again LOL Have fun with that. Good Job on the 99, I was vacillating on which scaling to do but the untested Biceps and absence of deadlifting for last month made me ere towards caution. I just got done watching this guy do 152 on 14.3 http://vimeo.com/89408359

26:57.  Was running about 25-min pace, but psyched myself out about halfway and started walking stretches to catch my breath.  I"m guessing I walked a cumulative 2min or so.

I need to get some music to listen to, so I can tune out my negative thoughts.

Still a PR by 01:19.  Nearly three months of mainsite definitely has me in better shape than before.

WU 1/2 mile walk

3 mile run bc I am American and don’t believe in the metric system.
Time of 23:20
Quads were tight. We need more runs like this or more sprints in the programming. At least every other week.
