15-12-9 reps for time of:
45-lb. squat cleans
Handstand push-ups (against wall)

9:32

Cash out - pull-ups / dips practice, KTE practice (I’m getting it more than missing it now!) and hanging knee raises.

Today’s WOD - My arms were fine, but my wrists nearly gave out towards the end of the HSPUs.  Does anyone have advice on how to increase the stamina in my wrists?  Thanks!

I finally feel like I’m starting to progress a little bit, and don’t feel like I’m going to die after each WOD!

Pack scale: 400 meter run and 15 - 65 lb thrusters x 4 rounds. took me 17:40. Tomorrow’s rest day is going to be AMAZING!

Warm-up: Deadhang pull-up work, then three rounds of 30s Sampsons + 15x each push-ups, sit-ups, elevated beginner pull-ups, and squats.

WOD: 15-12-9 of deadlift mixed with 21-15-9 of elevated beginner pull-ups.

I did 225# deadlift with a time of 7:45. First round of deadlift went unbroken. Remaining rounds were split in half. All pull-ups were split in half. I was shocked how much more difficult the pull-ups were after having done deadlift. That’s where the majority of my went.

Self-imposed Day of Rest # 2.

My energy level definitely went up today from the last few days, and my knees are feeling better too.  The plan is to take another day off tomorrow (maybe more) and then do “deload” (less weight/intensity) workouts for the remainder of a week (7 day’s time).  This whole getting old thing isn’t what it’s cracked up to be…

Good job to all of you today!  Our flag was flying for D-Day as well.

Why do I workout?  To make light of heavy situations.
