I thought it was a beutiful morning…
87F @ 60% humidity (where is the rain?)
6 miles run - @ 8’30 pace

My legs are trash from yesterday’s climb repeats on the bike
Do this slow run was more like a moist shuffle all the way

The rain is in NC.  LOL  6 miles at 8:30?  I’d just be trying to cross the finish line alive.  Great job!

You are too kind… I’m trying to train smarter to avoid injury but I can’t wait for the 70.3 race in October

For time:
15-ft. rope climbs, 8 ascents
100-meter walking lunge
40 dips
100-meter walking lunge
8 muscle-ups

1 rope climb = 5 x (pullup+ simultaneous k2chest + air squat)
Dips = 11+9+7+6+4+3
1 MU = 3 pullups + 3 dips

This one wiped my shoulders.  Also need to work on grip strength.  Close grip pullups are not equivalent to rope pullups.

WOD:

Just trying to gear up a little bit for the 5k I’m running on Saturday. So, with that:
2.43 mile run in 20:55, in 85 degree heat.

For some reason, I tend to run a little faster when it’s 60 or above as opposed to 50-60 degrees. Opened up the run being shot out of a cannon and then ended up with a very slow final mile, where all the hills are. Fortunately, Saturday’s route is much flatter, I do believe.
