This video is to give folks an idea of the range of motion required in hips to become more proficient at the Snatch and overhead squats. This footage was taken in 2004 ,I was 47 at the time. So it is possible to develop flexibility at an older age if one works at it.  The primary thing to watch is how deep the OHS squats are done in comparison to the high squats I do now because I’m lacking the hip mobility. I decided to post this since I had such a huge response on the OHS video I posted a couple of days ago. I actually got 24 views on 1st day which indicates there is a lot of interest in the Olympic lifts on site.  Here’s the video http://vimeo.com/101771066  This stuff requires a commitment to develop this kind of flexibility folks. I trained 4 days a week doing just Olympic lifts for years. Its a lot of fun when it comes together though. wink  Happy training
