We often get asked how to gain weight. It’s usually the skinny guys who ask that. As someone who used to be in that category, I can assure you that advancing years and a desk job will address that, but it won’t be useful weight that you add.

There’s a bit of math in there and it assumes that you know how the Zone works.
Taken with EC’s series on clean eating in the previous post and Issue 21 that basically describes the Zone block system, that should be more than enough for most people.
All of that said, the most important guideline of all is the eminently sensible:
“Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar.
Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat.”
