What is a beginner pull-up?

I am really new at this :)

I know what an assisted pull-up is…when you have help.

So, what’s a beginner pull-up?

Using a bar at a lower heigth, put your body in a plank position, now using you feet to help you pull yourself to get your chest to the bar. As you progress straighten the body more and more so you are using only your arms to pull you up.

Or if they’ve allowed people to email them, click on the “PROFILE” button next to the “PM” button and from there click on the “EMAIL” button if it exists.

But if you have general questions it’s best if you just ask on the forum. If you send a PM you’re forcing and relying on one person to answer you. If you ask in public anyone who has the info (or admittedly who thinks they do) can help and the answer is available for others to learn from.

I asked the most basic questions by the bucketload when I started up here.

( I have to have someone to pick on. Now that he’s turned 50, that’s FIVE OH, calling GD old is shooting at sitting ducks. And I never did say he was short, that’s a libellous statement made by some old dude at BX who has to jump to reach the pull-up bars.)
