I still get it sometimes, but not as badly as I used to.  The Abmat minimizes it.

We have too many heroes lost and not enough workout days to commemorate them. I think it’s fitting to always think of the men and women in service, whether military or peace officers and public safety, as we do our workouts. A bit of motivation to throw a little of our sweat and maybe a drop of blood on the floor in their honor.

and not being the long legged, thin hipped type I still get it so that theory is shot.
seems to be about equal distribution male/female at my place. Though it may be somewhat age related, um, no teenagers developed it too.

You know, if I’d never had the problem, I would think this qualified for “Crazy talk”

Seriously though, I find that MB shows up depending on the movement - fast abmat situps or full extension, unanchored situps done quickly is almost a guarantee depending on the volume. Military PRT “curlups” not so much (even fast) - I think it’s part anchoring my feet (helps keep the tailbone in contact with the ground, minimizing chafing) and part that we do them on the ground (it does give a little).

As for lubing up? Never tried it…... and not going there either.

Because he thought it was more manly than his bike with training wheels.
